Really is in the business of extending offers to purchase residential real estate in select U.S. cities.  What types of information we gather from you depends on the Services you have with us or for which you apply to us.  This information may include:
  • Your name, contact information, home/business address, e-mail address, driver’s license number and social security number;
  • Your date of birth, gender, and marital status;
  • Your log-in information when you log into our (or our affiliate’s) platform;
  • Business ownership information, including profit sharing and ownership interests;
  • Your financial information, including without limitation, your net worth and your bank statements and tax returns.
  • Information about residential real estate property you own in part and whole, the value of said real estate, any outstanding debt, taxes owed on the property, financing or creditor information related to your residential real estate properties.
  • Your personal background and credit information.

If you use our (or our affiliate’s) platform, we may also collect information about the browser you are using.  This information can include:

  • Your IP address or other device identifying information, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request;

We may share your personal information with other companies and individuals to perform functions or services for us or on our behalf, such as hosting this website, sending e-mail messages, making phone calls, and processing requests for home evaluations and estimates. These parties are contractually or otherwise restricted from using any personal information for purposes other than providing services for Really (or its affiliates) or on our behalf.

We may disclose personal and other sensitive information, as necessary, in connection with providing our Services. In order to provide home value estimates, labor and materials cost estimates and products/related products, we may disclose your information to residential real estate investors, financing providers, insurers, reinsurers, insurance intermediaries, brokers, lenders, underwriters, insurance reference bureaus, fraud detection agencies, our other advisers, lawyers, accountants, and other third parties involved in a home purchase, sale, and/or servicing process(es).
With Your Consent

We may disclose personal and other sensitive information after receiving your consent for such disclosure. Such consent may be provided via written, electronic, or verbal means, subject to Really’s ability to reasonably validate your identity and determine the authenticity of such request.

4. How can you limit the sharing of your data?

Really respects your privacy and your right to limit the sharing of your information.  The following identifies ways in which you can limit the sharing of your information and data:

5. What steps does Really take to protect your information?

Secure Internet Connectivity. Really protects your personal/private information through the use of encryption technology. We use industry standard security protocol (Secure Sockets Layer or “SSL”) to ensure that the connection between your browser and our server remains protected. Unfortunately, no data transmitted over the Internet or data storage system can be guaranteed 100% secure. If you believe your connection with us is no longer secure for any reason, please notify us immediately.

Information Security. Personal information and user-specific settings and preferences are stored using commercially standard database and website security software. User passwords and other sensitive user information are saved in encrypted form to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure and accidental loss, alteration, or destruction.

Evaluation of Information Protection Practices. Periodically, our operations and business practices are reviewed for compliance with corporate policies and procedures governing the security, confidentiality, and quality of our information.

Disposal of Your Personal Information. Personal information that we will not retain will be securely destroyed by shredding, erasing, or otherwise modifying the personal information in the records to make the information unreadable or indecipherable through any means.
